Position Summary:

The candidate will be responsible for providing support for clients, performing outreach programming, and assisting with general office administration. The student will be working with seniors and ensuring they are helping to serve the client’s individual needs through the organization and implementation of the programs. They will be learning and developing their client service skills on a daily basis.

Main Duties:

• Assist with the organization of health seminars and various programming for caregivers and tenants in the Home
• Clerical duties
• Other duties as may be assigned

• Current enrolment in a post-secondary program in Social Services or related field in a recognized University/College;
• Experience working with seniors 
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
• Basic computer skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Proficient in English and Greek is preferred.

To be eligible the student should meet the following criteria:

• have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment 
• be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial legislation and regulations.
