Manager, Community Programs Details

Position Title: Manager, Community Programs
Department: Housing Department
Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Administrator of Housing, candidate is a team-focused individual with a vision for seniors’ community programming and a passion for service excellence.

Duties:

  • Manage the operation of the Adult Day Program (ADP)
  • Manage the operation of Supportive Housing Services
  • Management, scheduling, training, supervision of Supportive Housing and Adult Day Program staff
  • Liaising, consulting, and advocating with service providers, medical professionals, clients, and client’s families.
  • Review and submit departmental expenditures maintaining adherence to the departmental budgets.
  • Ensure annual reviews and update of departmental policies.
  • Ensure department is operating in compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Case management for existing clients and tenants.
  • Establishing/updating care plans for new and existing home visits to clients as needed for ensuring quality of service for ongoing clients as well as new client assessments.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Proven managerial skills including excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership skills
  • Computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in MS office
  • A university degree/diploma in Sociology, Psychology, Health Administration or equivalent along with a minimum of 3 years directly related experience at a supervisory level.
  • Greek speaking is an asset

Salary: commensurate upon experience.
